David Foreman accepted the call into ministry in December 1974; he preached his first sermon on March 1975 at Paradise Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Herman Green.  He was ordained in January 1980.  In March 1986 David accepted the commission from God and founded the Reachout Baptist Church (later changed to Reachout Christian Center Church).  Starting with ten members, God blessed Reachout to purchase a larger church within three years.  In 1992, God's blessings continued as we purchased 66 acres of land and built a new 8,000 square feet sanctuary in 1995.  In 2003, Reachout was able to expand its church and build a 10,800 square feet addition.

Pastor Foreman worked for General Motors for 23 years before leaving to work in ministry full time.  As pastor, David has ministered to Promise Keepers' groups, Ithaca/Reachout Fellowship, and numerous denominations in the United States.  He also traveled overseas to various parts of Africa sharing his faith about the Lord Jesus Christ.  He was an active member of the Convention of Prophetic and Apostolic Churches (COPAC), Dunamis Full Gospel Fellowship, and Pray America/Pastors Prayer Network, whose emphasis was to further the unity of the total body of Christ.  Pastor Foreman also sat on the Board of Justice for Greater Lansing and the Advisory Board of the Boys and Girls Club.  He currently serves as the treasurer for the Clergy Forum of Greater Lansing.  He believes you must put your faith in action if you are going to be blessed by God.

Pastor David and Evangelist Annie Foreman have been married for over 40 years and have five children, eighteen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.  David is a man of faith who believes that nothing is impossible with God.
